True, so true! My mother was in so much pain that she screamed every time someone even acted like the were going to touch her. She has no idea that she almost died.

Has anyone else been having the problem with the new Volvo that with any snow storm and temperature drops the inside cabin heating system stops working? This is my second time in becoming Frosty the snowman! While driving.

A BIG shout out to Big Lots!!!
Home Time this weekend in Arizona
Three local Walmarts said NO parking.
No street parking in town... blah blah blah
Now I could probably find a quiet out of the way spot and ask forgiveness later or tuck away someplace and no one would be the wiser.
BUT... while the actual Owners and Property Management of the “parking lot” around Walmart and Big Lots have a very strict “No Trucks” Policy, the Manager of Big Lots said I could park on his docks until 5am Monday... which is when they have a truck coming...
“no problem and Thank You Sir!!!”Last edited: Mar 30, 2019

On my way home. I deliver Monday night in Boca Raton, 10 miles from the house. Then my next load takes me, the wife and our luggage to Italy for 3 weeks.

I know i havnt posted in forever, but i do still lurk around here and there.
They say all good things must come to an end and so has our time team driving once our 2 stops are off in PA tomorrow and we get back to Richmond. It has definately been a fun adventure this last year and a half running all over the USA with my wife and dog.
I have accepted a local home daily job hauling cryogenic liquids based in central VA covering VA MD and NC.
Abilene has been a great place to work. Ive been to 46 of the lower 48 states and bumped far more skill building docks than i ever expected starting this career.
Team driving was always a short term thing for us, 2 to 3 years tops. We have achieved our goals here and now its time to tackle some other ones that my new job will allow, but an OTR lifestyle does not.
We have not been immune from the changes in operations or the reduced volume of regular customer freight, both of which has led to a dramatic increase in sitting. These work related issues, in addition to some personal and familial issues is what led us to make this decision at this time.
Its gonna be wierd, once i turn this truck in, itll be the first time since 2007 i havnt worn or driven green.
I wish everyone many safe and happy miles!MidWest_MacDaddy, Lonesome, tbac and 5 others Thank this. -
