This month should end pretty well I booked my self up on two loads yesterday that will finish up on Friday for good money. Friday, I’ll be at 11156 miles and 22k in revenue. Rates could always be better but I’m satisfied with it. It’s been tight since January. I’m still doing fine but I’ve been preplanning loads farther in advance than normal. The good loads don’t stay on the board long.

I haven't read all 30+ pages of this thread yet. Do you get your loads from the boards or do you have relationships with brokers and/or shippers?

Tug Toy and tax Thank this.

I do a lot with one broker, he moves large volumes of Tyson freight. Otherwise, I use the load board. I’m not setup with many brokers. I pull for the same people a lot. For a while I wasn’t using the board at all, just pulling for my primary guy. Things have slowed down and I’ve been using it more.

The new trailer is finally ready for shipment. I’m hoping it will be there next week so I can get it ready to roll, insurance, and complete the finance deal on it while I’m in town. It should have been there this week but there were delays in getting it cleared by quality control. They were backlogged.

I drove a 2012 IH with a MAXFORCE and a battery APU, and Esperanto heater. Drove it for almost two years. Only issue was the EGR busted at 225k miles. The APU had plenty of cooling power even in Laredo on a summer day. No issue with run time. Depending on what setting you were using with the A/C, and the hotel load from other appliances, the charge would last 6-10 hours before automatically starting the truck to charge batteries. That would usually take about 1.5-2hrs. I certainly will be looking to putting a battery APU on my next truck.

Thanks for sharing this! I am really pulling for you. I am too big of a ##### myself to bravely invest and go forward the way you do but it seems that you got everything figured out.
Allow me to ask you...your initial predictions of A26's performance making up for the difference in truck payments of you current truck vs the previous one, were they correct?

    Tug Toy Thanks this.
