Just got the go ahead at a reefer company, :biggrin_25525: they said they use t-checks and t-check cards for fuel. I need to know a couple things.....
first, when you fuel with a t-check card does it work just like a comdata ? they gave me a pile of checks with the card. Do i just pull up, swipe the card and answer the questions at the fuel isle or do i have to write out an actual check as well?
Then, when fueling a reefer, I lift the nozzle and fill the truck, then do i lay the nozzle on the ground and pull forward to fill the reefer tank, or do i actually fill the truck, put the nozzle back on the fuel pump, pull forward and then swipe the card again or something??
Sorry for the dumb questions, been pulling a van until this point.
    thanks to all.

Anytime when fueling a tractor & reefer, you card in, fill in the info, fuel the truck and hang up both nozzles. Pull the truck forward to fuel the reefer. Pick up the nozzle and start fueling.

Really? When did they start doing that? I haven't bought reefer fuel in over 5 years, and the "J" was not one of my favs anyhow.

At the J, after you fuel the tractor...hang up the hoses. Then pull ahead, rerun your card and it will ask you if this is reefer

Thanks, I just hated having to rerun the card, once the pump was on. I know it's not right, guess I was just being lazy!!

you still hang up the handle between filling the truck and reefer even if it gives the option to buy both on the pump. this is how the pump distinguishes that your filling different units because they are printed on seperate reciepts or seperatly on the same reciept
