Status check: this morning I was let go by McElroy Trucking. Their excuse? all they said was they didn't think I would be a good fit. this was a total complete waste of time driving almost 5 hours from Atlanta to Cuba Alabama. they lied to students this morning about why so many drivers weren't in the classroom saying that they were late as hell or just MIA. Come to find out those drivers were told last night that they wouldn't be a good fit and asked to leave the hotel room immediately. I guess this is standard normal policies in the trucking industry.
Loss of time... Must move now!

How many students were in the orientation class?
How many students were let go? 50%?
Did you all (the students) stay in the motel?
Did you all eat together?
Did you all share war stories?
Were there any females in orientation?
Were there any lewd or racial or politically incorrect jokes that you overheard?
Did anyone complain about the food served at lunch?
Did anyone get into a disagreement with any motel or restaurant personnel?
Did anyone in orientation class have a beer or talk about having a beer?
Did anyone speak of or show off any porn to anyone else to your knowledge?jamespmack and gentleroger Thank this. -
BTW, try Boyd Bros or Bulldog Transport out of South Carolina

Whether you'd collect anything worthwhile after paying your lawyer and the time you spent on the suit would be another matter.jamespmack Thanks this. -
Bummer. Sorry it didn't work out for you. Believe me, a lot of folks get sent packing before they get past step one.
Unfortunately, you weren't even hired yet and in most pre-hire situations, they aren't required to give you any reason to send you packing.
I highly doubt that this company sent you on your way because you refused to pray with their chaplain.back street slider and jamespmack Thank this.
