Procuring A Parking Spot at a truck stop?

NOT saying I did it.. just watched the others get crafty. @Chinatown 's crafty idea? Had I thunk it I woulda sunk it back then, LoL~!!!

 

See that green light on the left front radius of my trailer ?...yep it's a reefer .
See the black and shiny box on my frame rail ? ...yep it's an apu .
Deal with it or dont park next to me ....I always try to get off by myself so as to be considerate of others or next to another reefer but occasionally have those that give me the look.

 

I sleep better when a refer parks beside me oddly. Too quiet, must be all those years pulling a reefer

 

I've never pulled a reefer but maybe twice, as a favor to my then company...the lights and alarms confused me but I got through those 2 days. Seriously, I slept like a BABY with the white noise...better than I did in a dry van. When I pulled for T/A , I actually PREFERRED to back beside a reefer for the white noise. Yeah, the on again, off again, didn't bother me.. the sound of an engine .. rolling, rolling, rolling... Kinda like the song: The Garden of Allah (which you cannot get online anymore) Nothing's wrong, Nothing's right, and I sleep VERY WELL at night.

 

I was sick for awhile too, then.... oops!
