It seems you have a problem following this thread.
I had already posted a picture showing what these machines are used for, and it is clearly NOT as an excavator. It is not used for excavations, it is used to rip things apart. It will have giant scissors. Mammoet salvage is not into ground work, is not doing excavations. So making fun on me for calling it a crane, and at the same time calling it an excavator is rather silly.
Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

@Cat sdp will be very happy with this clip:
Remember the 'ridiculous 1000 rpm @ top speed' discussion in this thread? Listed to what is said at the end of the clip. -
Have you watched his other videos? He is just youtuber, who says how each truck is great. 0 complains all the time. 1000rpm@top speed is stupid, period.
If I make YT video why Daf trucks are stupid, will you publish it here too?Last edited: Apr 9, 2019
sdaniel, 98989, Cat sdp and 1 other person Thank this. -
Not true, he does have criticism, but he will not blur it out loudly. He depends on dealers and manufacturers for his small test drives. As far as I'm aware he is the only one in the whole of Europe who makes these kind of clips unless you know an alternative.
I fully agree, a dealer that sells 1600 trucks per year can not possibly have your great insight knowledge on this matter. That's why he made that mistake when he specified the truck. -
So he can't be also treated as oracle.
Exactly, they just want to sell trucks, they don't use them.sdaniel, Cat sdp and spsauerland Thank this. -
Don't look at these clips as in-depth reviews of a truck, they are just nice impressions, whatever truck he shows.
Very true, how can customers expect proper advise from a dealer on the specifications of a truck? Unheard of. As a customer you must expect badly performing trucks if you listen to a dealer's advise.
