Probably not anytime soon. Yesterday was my first day of a new local job which I hope will be a significant upgrade to my previous local job which disintegrated last month.

When the boss calls you in for a quick meeting on your day off, you just know it isn't tell you how great a driver you are.

 

Sharp?

 

They were at the top of the list until I got an offer from Sysco. Lower pay, but minimal chance of them closing their doors anytime soon whereas Sharp could lose their contract with Aldi at any time.

That was my reasoning anyway. Time will tell.

Well I am sure that many of you have gone through this experience. My appointment at the Publix was set for 8:00 PM. and the people who where supposed to unload me came around 9:45 PM.
None of them where very motivated and when they took a look at the humongous one hill Phoenix unit they were less motivated.
Time was going, going and going.
Finally they said... “We cannot unload you here at the dock, the unit is to big for the back door and you will have to move the truck to the front of the store.
I said ok! I went and moved the truck and again waited, waited,waited and waited until they appeared with there 1% motivation to work! (Yes I’m being sarcastic).
Finally the unit is of the trailer and now I have to sit and wait because there blocking my only exit point!

And for the grand finally..... They can’t get the unit through the front doors!
Finally they drop the unit on the floor and let me go through!
Next stop.... Picking up in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

If it was near West Memphis terminal it’s him.

 

Empty at 0715 near groveport,guess what still waiting on a load.

Called dm this morning to see if they can start getting me west when I come off hometime,this Ohio run has me burnt out.

 

That’s not going to happen. Aldi pays good money for quality service.

 

Ugh... across the street from HP Plant #1... what was to be a simple bump a dock between 17-23 and leave has become a LUL at 7am since there is a trailer already in dock doors 17-23... so hang out in their parking lot until tired enough to sleep then bump a dock in my sleep... then try to go back to bed for a few more hours... and some business here loves making a lot of banging noises too.

Felling rather pissy about it tonight. Maybe a good solid half night of sleep will help...
