Hello everybody i have a question about cameras on signal lights. So today i ran a red light that im pretty sure had a camera on it. The light changed red when i was at the line, was going about 35mph and fully loaded. I wasnt sure if i had enough space to slowly stop, so i kept going, thats a decision we have to make in less than a second so I committed. Im 95% sure i will get a ticket and im really worried. My questions are where do they send the ticket? Im a company driver, should i quit the job? What will happen? Im a safe driver so i get paranoid when something goes wrong. Sorry for rambling.

If you have dashcam review it see how many seconds the light stays on yellow. I heard some of the traffic lights will SHORTEN yellow in order to give tickets, if you can prove this in court you win.
Nathanos and bottomdumpin Thank this. -
Very good chance you and your company will never hear from them about it at all.
Canadianhauler21, sevenmph, Nathanos and 2 others Thank this. -
this is why you want dirty trailer doors and a severely bent license plate. even a spray can of black paint, to cover up the 1-800 number.
by the time the ticket gets processed, and how slowly your company digs into this, you may never have to pay.
but i can assure you that there is not only a snap shot of you, but a video as well, they will have it timed in such a way, they can determine your speed as well....as to when the light turned red.25(2)+2 Thanks this. -
Or you can simply call your company and confess your weighty trucking sins to ease your worried mind. -
