What are the best ways to crack one's frame... and how to avoid doing that?

Are there bad ways to park, like on unlevel ground?

If'n you chain the front of your frame rails to the ground, chain the rear of your frame rails to the ground... Then get yourself a air over hydraulic bottle jack, and a comfortable creeper to lounge on while you work. If you run the jack out till it stops, and then release it... and repeat.

That's probably the easiest way to crack it without wrecking anything else.

What is it you are trying to accomplish?
Frames can take a lot of abuse. Whether single or double. After many years it may crack or it may not. Just the way it is. It can possibly be fixed or it may need to be reframed. Parking on level or uneven ground isn’t gonna net you more years. Just drive the truck dude. No matter what you do, you aren’t gonna prevent the frame from cracking if it decides to do that in a few yeats

Drive up north and NEVER wash it. Mother Nature will do the rest. Give her time.

Just take a ride down Route 222 from Allentown to Lancaster. After a few trips, you should encounter broken springs, blown out shocks, and maybe even a cracked frame.

On a Reitnouer spread axle step deck? Dump the air from the rear axle while loaded.
