Reminds Me of the Bazooka Joe eye glasses, with built in rear view. .25c and 10 comics. Does anyone else know or remember Bazooka Joe? Anyone ever get the x-ray eye glasses? Did they really work? Lol

Now that I am thinking I was in the left lane when I lost the power to the truck. If I had camera mirrors I don’t know how I would take the truck safely to the shoulder with all the traffic behind me that day.
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
I would actually consider retrofitting my ‘97 W900 with this. It would be hard for me to trust them though with all the snow, and mud I have to get through. When it’s raining hard my regular mirrors become worthless anyway, so it can’t be much worse. They need a rotating shield with a wiper to stay clean like you see on car mounted motor sports cameras.

I had the X-Ray glasses. All they did was give everything you look at a second edge, double-vision if you will.Another Canadian driver, JoeyJunk and Rideandrepair Thank this.

Auto transmissions have nothing to do with technology.
They are there because there is an entire generation of Americans with no mechanical skills or knowledge of how a truck operates. Not to mention the lack of coordination, like moving your left foot and right hand in sequence.Another Canadian driver, LTL Bull, Gearjammin' Penguin and 2 others Thank this. -
One advantage I see is that it's one less mirror to get knocked off by other drivers in the truck stops.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

Not a problem of vision. Irrelevant. Want to argue flat versus metallic paint?Another Canadian driver and Studebaker Hawk Thank this.
