    Good afternoon,
I am looking for a company who administrate trucks and get the works for my truck.
I am not a truck driver but I am interested in buying a truck and trailer to give it to a logistic administrator, carrier or any company who can get the works for truck and also hire the driver, I would only the owner of the truck.

Does anybody here know a couple of companies who do that in Pennsylvania ?

    Thank you very much

You need a dispatcher, or service?
    Or a carrier?
Or start booking your own loads ?

    Hi,
I don't know anything about the business and I don't have the time to book for my own loads.
I heard about companies where I only have to bring my truck and they get the loads for my truck and find a driver for my truck, and I would not have to worry about anything to there that maintenance and get paid for my truck work.
I heard that I could get 2000 dollars a week for my truck and they take a percentage of the loads for them and a percentage for the driver.

Omg if thats true I will rent mine out. This is not a industry you wanna be involved in and hands free. Do some research, invest in property or stocks. Being hands free is the fastest way to get ripped off. The profit isnt there.

Correct, either have one and drive it, maintain it. Or have 5 and manage it from a desk full time. It is a full time job.

In this market, the cost of the operation would be higher than the truck would even make. You would end up paying money out every month instead of making money.

No, I think it's people who heard about the money in this business last year who don't know that it turned around on us this year. I think they still think we're getting 4 or 5 dollars per mile out here. I run into people every once in a while that ask me where those loads are. I tell them that they are about 9 months too late for that party.

You can get $10 per mile running logs in Michigan.
But breakdowns are real pricey, and very often at 170,000 pounds gross.
They are lucky to gross $5K per week to the truck.
