Harbor Freight doesn't sell vacuum pumps... I just called one and they don't sell them. Could I just run some extra 134a through the system with a something open to get rid of all the air?

Or autozone will lend you the pump and gauges free with a deposit.
For finding the condenser try them as well as local indy shops.PermanentTourist Thanks this. -
I already tried some independent shops, they are as expensive as the dealer.
What I really need is a Truck junk yard in Ohio, but they are hard to find. -

I thought the op said this was a radiator leak?
If that is the condenser than unplug your harness for the AC pump.
Than your good until you get it fixed. If your in the cool areas until you get home just run the truck until off time.
You may want to pick up a condenser on your way home from a parts shop for $200 or so.Rideandrepair and PermanentTourist Thank this. -
All the stores carry them. You likely talked to someone who doesn't have a clue what a vacumn pump is.
Replace your filter drier too and add 3 oz of PAG100 oil. Vacumn for at least 30 minutes and make sure it holds with no loss on the gauge.Joetro, Rideandrepair and PermanentTourist Thank this.
