Yep, a boy with our outfit got inspected today out there near abilene. They had a film crew filming them so he might be famous in a day or two ! LOL

#### I just remembered. I got a driving award this morning from Navasota PD. A nice little warning for "not on truck route", because they have a sign flippin somewhere tellin about the goofy ### route they want trucks to run instead of going the 1 mi through town.

I asked him what the truck route is, and he said I just need to watch the signs next time, they'll tell me where to go. I wanted to ask him "oh so you dont know the ##'in route either huh?"

 

I do a lot of brokered freight, but I know what it should pay and what I won’t haul it for. Some days/weeks I’m busy some I’m not. But I won’t ever haul a load and you hear me complain that I’m losing money.

It's worse when they have too much influence on your day to day.

Group of drivers: your gonna be here for 9hrs easy. I'm first in dock.

Me:. Uhhhh. No I'm not,. I'll be gone in 20 min. Here hold my beer. Lol

Walk up to shipping/receiving window.

Needless to say it was like 11 min. To get pallets of labels off the ride. I was doing the math. 70k to 80k labels if I had to guess.

These joker's have been waiting for me to show up. I didn't leave the dock till 10am the one guys been here since yesterday.

So what the heck happen here. The dust is finally settling down. dang.
