I didn’t learn about the WTC bombing attempt in 1993 until my middle school years when I actually started to read a lot of American history...

Unbelievable what the Establishment finds acceptable. More people who deserve to be shot. That's traitorous behavior to leave that out of our history classes. There are/were many important lessons to be learned from that debacle. Plus acting like the Honorable DRAFTED Service Members who lost their lives or health simply because they obeyed the government is absolutely unacceptable.

I was in 7th grade. I’ll never forget waking up and seeing what happened on Good Morning America before they went political. Knew it had significance even then. If I was a senior in high school at the time I would have needed up in the military.

I don’t expect schools to teach students everything about history nowadays — there’s just so #### much to cover. There is, however, a reason we’re so forgetful as we are when it comes to certain issues directly affecting our society... I think students really need to reach out and be more open-minded to hear both sides. I think more teachers need to be willing to go beyond what’s on the pages and actually share insights as well...

We can learn a lot from history and our past but there’s just so much of it in the past 20-30 years alone that it almost makes it impossible to cover all of it before senior year. With that being said geography and the sciences have a lot of redundancy when it comes to the curriculum. Besides that, not a single class in economics till my senior year and we spent literally half a semester covering it that it was bloody forgetful to 90% of the kids anyway.. but shiet if the guy didn’t talk about Supreme Court cases from the 1900s for the other six months. Cover the important ones and let’s move on, yeah?

Think if my generation read this history as early as I did from multiple sources we wouldn’t be so willing to allow them to walk on in to our country and open up a business on the corner... much less drive a 80,000 ride down the interstate...

Just my 0.02 cents. Lack of education and a simply unwillingness to care is getting hit this country hard in another 10 years.
