Kenan Merchant Gas Group?

Is it all local? Can you give me some leads...would like to work otr possibly west coast.

 

Here's what I'm hualing now..just looking for west or east coast otr as I'm I Oklahoma.

 

I love flatbed just heard cryo was more money.

 

We have all local daycabs with some layovers every few weeks out here in socal. We do have one team sleeper truck out of our yard that gets home every weekend. We are currently looking for a new team to run out of LA to New Orleans. That team will be out three weeks at a time.

 

I'm in Oklahoma...want to work in Cali...otr perhaps...that's the thing with kenan they are saying I could do 4 weeks in cali, fly me home for a few days off then fly back.

 

Southern Pines is wanting me but flat rate of 288 a day...30 trucks out of Pennsylvania

 

Would you say Southern pines would be better than kenan?

 

I have no idea, like I said I'm a private fleet man myself, and I gave up on OTR years ago.

 

Keenan will tell you what they think you want to hear. But here are the private fleets.

Air Liquide/ Air Gas drivers just got a raise.
LINDE and Praxair merged to become the new Linde.
The old Linde is now Messer Gas.
AIR Products is the best out of the 5 private fleets to get on with. (MY opinion.)
Matheson is the smallest of the private fleets.

These corporations are hiring in different areas. But to become a OTR driver you will be teaming. Or you will have to seek out a rest and roll bid. Witch you wont have any seniority coming in the door. So it would be hard to get unless everyone else likes going home everyday. Check out there websites and apply! CTI/JBK/KEENAN can't keep drivers since Keenan bought me out.
