Maybe it’s time to scale some up for NWS. If we can build drones to do air strikes thousands of miles away then building some fitted with cameras and sensors for weather reconnaissance shouldn’t be a problem.

I don't think he's going to get much punishment at all. He has no record, no drugs or anything else so I'm sure he'll get the minimum. In Colorado for involuntary manslaughter is either 2-6 in jail or $2,000 - $500,000 fine.

He made a mistake and wasn't trying to kill anyone. Nothing will happen to the trucking company at all other then a mark on their record. So I'm guessing just a fine, that's it.

There isn't going to be a public lynching, death by stoning, deportation. Maybe lose his CDL but not his drivers license.

I was very surprised about his bail being so high.

With the companies existing record, it could very well be more than just a fine, such ad suspending their authority.
Insurance may very well spell the end of the company and probably will.
There will be multiple lawsuits, and the company will lose. I doubt that they can or will be able to pay, but they also can never grow with the judgements, they will have against them.
I would bet that this is the end of the company, and their lawyers are already working on an exit strategy.

Exit strategy might be too grand a term. By now they've probably changed their phone number, changed their address, sold the trucks off fast and cheap, and they're headed out for parts unknown. No strategy, just survival instincts.

I have literally seen that happen, even sold the engine out of the truck he wrecked, which had him in hot water with the insurance company. lol

With these type of homicide charges (plus other charges pending),I think they’re going to make an example out of him.
