I always weld both sides, outside of the frame and the inside of the frame.

Even remounting a spring hanger isn't bad as long as it's not damaged. Just be sure to take lots of measurements and triple check them. That way, everything goes back to the correct location.

 

Thank You the only rust through I’ve found is where the frame attaches to the bumper and the radiator mounts (lower) are shot. The rest of the frame appears solid.

 

Looks good from here, however, we're going to need some samples sent to the various testing labs spread around the country, for quality control. Wouldn't want any regional bias now would we???
