I have my experience at the truck stop in Sparks..don't go there. Told him cb failed all tests except power and I couldnt hear anyone. When I got there he said right, no reception. He used a meter. My Swr was 6 when I got there. He cut an inch of wire out of the firestick, retested said good to go. He was busy so I paid and left. Later that night, I turn it on and still no reception and NOW I have engine electrical interference. Jesus. He got good reviews, he even returned my phone call the next day but no help. Heading towards CA and NM and need to find someone to get this right. Frustrating. Anyone know if the guy on Durant in Albuquerque still open? Extreme CB got mixed reviews. Thank

Aren’t you the guy telling me I wasn’t running an amp off a spare battery in the trunk of my patrol car? And you burnt up three radios and amps and blame it on the tech? LOL, sounds like you are really qualified to question people’s setups.
Hey @Humblepie maybe it’s because he didn’t have his radio in a Trunk pack???
And you didn’t overdrive your setups to the point of meltdown especially with a 30 watt radio. You had issues elsewhere. -
I’m sure that’s what it was! Every noob knows you run a trunk packshogun Thanks this.

Really? So a 4 watt Dk and 30 watt pep radio with a distorted and over modulated signal into an amp that was designed for 2 watt DK and 10-12 watts pep wasnt an issue? Bwahahahha. Oooook.
And your right. I am the guy who called you out on having a radio in your "patrol car". You were never a LEO...that is a fact. At best, maybe a rent-a-cop that could never pass the test, lol.
Arent you the same ####### that talks alot of #### but backs none of it up? Bwahahahha.
Read the spec ....all the info that Chris wrote down himself CLEARLY states that the SD1446 pills were overdriven. None of what he wrote down was even close to the manufacturers specs. I challenge you to show me anywhere a single 1446 can produce 140 watts.
I guess your the noob.

Yeah, around here, all agencies are required to run a trunk pack. With all the gear in the trunk, it can be a projectile thru the rear seat/ prisoner transport...hence them being kevlar.....but I guess down in Missippi they dont need to care about no safety issues or dem darn lawsuits by dem' fancy lawyas.....heck, dey still run dem CB radios, and even allow an "officer" and his buddy to install dem....on a Govt vehicle. Bwahahahahahahahaha. Lol.
Here we ago, another "LEO" from Mississippi. BwahahahahaLast edited: May 5, 2019

So I wasn’t a cop? Care to make it interesting and put your money where your know nothing mouth is? How about a little wager, $10,000 to your $1000? Easy money right, if I wasn’t a cop.
I’ll let you pick the proof, how about the Division of Standards and training that has my certification number? Or maybe you’d like to call the three departments I worked for? I could meet you anywhere anytime with all my certificates. The ball is in your court, homo.
I’ll just look for the radios and amps on fire. Now go get that trunk pack!!!Humblepie Thanks this.
