The guy was 23 years old and probably the only thing he was thinking is he was going to die.

As far as we know he is now in a serious mental state of mind and quite possibly will be the rest of his life. I know of a trucker that passed in a no passing zone on 54 in New Mexico and hit a car head on, he shot himself before the police got there. I would hate to know I had killed someone especially if it was my fault.
A friend put his truck off a bridge, because when he rounded the curve there was an old farm tractor on it with an implement, so he took the creek instead of hitting the old man, almost killed himself, not to say he would have been better off hitting the tractor either.

Still doesn’t explain the lack of brake lights. It’s a mystery for sure. If he was racing down that hill.......well I just can’t imagine anyone being that stupid

With him lawyered up on top of his "I did nothing wrong attitude" we'll likely never know what really went down.

I read the cops said he “didn’t appear remorseful”. He was also quoted by his girlfriend as saying “what they’re doing to me isn’t fair”

The story was about his comments to his supporters. Don't remember where I saw it.

They're definitely making a lot of excuses. I've been following the story.

I guess time will tell what the outcome of all of this will be. Have a feeling that they're going to let him off the hook lighter than expected (probably calls from "above")

Just pay attention to the sympathy language they use on the news articles. Even the cop that gave the statement lied. Let's define what "some English" means to that cop vs the rest of us.

Lack of English doesn’t mean he’s guilty. I don’t care if he doesn’t understand a single word. That’s on Texas, not the driver. Texas gave him the CDL so he’s good to go. Period.

And How do you know the cop lied?LMFAO
