But they did toss some $$$ at me so that made that bitter pill a bit easier to swallow... lol

I’m in your neck of the woods this weekend... well, FCC’s woods that is... got a Walmart DC load (Yep, Another Broker Load) from Cincinnati to North Platte, NE... best part is I have some great friends that live in Lincoln... so my wife and I are going to have a sit down dinner with them and the kids Sunday night before my 6am LUL on Monday morning.

I’m having one of those moments right now that y’all are having. Get told to take a specific trl to a place to load (on a day whey they are normally closed). Get here a bit early. No one knows what I’m supposed to pick up or which bldg. NO ONE. Not even dispatch. NO ONE!! So, here I sit. Waiting & hoping someone will show up at this huge place that loads out of like 4 bldgs and tell me WTF. The joy of it all. Oh, and it’s raining. :/

 

I’m glad I mostly deal with one customer.

 

Doesn’t seem like it, does it? Glad I get paid by the hour. I’ll sit here all day.

 

Update.....dispatch did know who, just not exactly which bldg. AND HAD A PHONE NUMBER!!!! After taking with dispatch for the 3rd time, they finally got off their tail and called the guy and he said exactly which door to go to. When I rolled around there, he tells me he’s been here since 8:30 am. What a coincidence! Me too!!!! All I can do is SMDH at the incompetence of it all. Whatevs.
