You can easily invent work history.
Buy a twenty dollar burner phone or two, keep one or both or give it to a friend....only give the numbers out on applications. One is Bob's Lawn Care and the other is Joe's Home Repair. If they ring you answer them as such and provide glowing tributes to your character and work ethic.

Eh, I don't quite want to do that. I've thought about it. I just don't want to get bit in the ### down the road.

I could see why lying might make some uncomfortable. But it would be all but impossible to expose as a lie, and nobody will have the slightest reason to try anyway.

Yeah, I mean, it is any option. I've always prided myself on being a straight shooter though.

Anyways, anyone have anything against my current plan?

Just don’t quit. Get knocked down 7 times, stand up 8. Some place will be a perfect match just keep trying.

Educated is good, but if you want to drive work on that. If you want to wrench do that. Pick one for now.

Well, I'm looking at doing both though. I can get the mechanic crap free. I just think it is a good skill to have as a driver. Especially when I reach my goal of becoming an O/O under my own Authority one day. I've heard if you can fix your own stuff, it saves a lot of money.

Yes what you're doing is the most amazing and original thing ever and you are going to be a billionaire.

I'm not in the best state right now, I apologize.

    A couple thoughts.

It isn't free. Your education is paid for by people like me, I pay a crap load of taxes and see it as a waste of money if people don't take it seriously. When people get it into their head it is free, then they don't take it seriously and don't complete the education or worst yet, waste the money by not using it,

Second use your acquired skills for what it is intended for, don't become a truck driver and piss it away. Mechanic skills are easy to acquire, truck driving is easy too, either one doesn't needs the other.

I know this isn't what you want to hear ... but I see this all the time with people my daughters age, they abuse the student loan and military benefits and we get screwed with wasted money.
