I remember the last time I went to Binghamton it was winter and snowing like crazy on 81. I was in a flat top fld pulling a reefer. So that was in 2006 I guess it was.

Pfft! 86....17....same road as far as I'm concerned all they did was change the signs. It;s been a couplle years for me too. There used to be a mom and pop in Bath or Avoca with a big dirt lot and good food. I suppose it's a chain now.

It's a bit different now than it was back then. 86 does have some rough spots, or it did a couple yrs ago last time I was on it. It's a sight better than 17 used to be though.

Lots of highs and lows in that road still, but nothin to worry much about.

TA in Bingo is still there yep. Parking can be a challenge. Petro in Dupont, PA (x178 I think) has good parking. I usually stay at the Penn Can in Harford, PA (x217). Avoid the Flying Hook in Gibson (x219) like the plague it's amateur hour 24/7

That TA has always been tight. It was a run down dump last time I was there. I’m going to hang at the Iowa 80 till Sunday. I’ll never make it there by noon tomorrow and no OS running again till Monday.

You need to walk west a little ways and eat at Toby Kieth’s I Love This Bar and Grill and tell us if it’s good or not. I’ve never eaten there.

Or catch a ride to Cattleman’s on S. Agnew. I know for a fact that’s good eatin.

Last time I was at the TA in Bing bunch of sand haulers had taken over the place. That's been a couple yrs back though.

And yeah you gotta get there early to get a parking spot that's not a tight ### squeeze getting in and out of.

It still is. Last time I was there a door slammer backed his trailer into that little ravine that's in the parking lot and they had a heavy wrecker in there betting him out. That didn't make parking situation any better but the entertainment value was there. If you have some backing skills you can usually find a spot that nobody else will try.
