So do I. They make a one pc double clamp force but very pricey. I tried the heavy duty rubber boots but the don't flex enough. So ya learn to carry spare boots and clamps along with all the other spare parts we carry.

 

Gonna be a busy day in Crispy's world.


Replace pipe connection on the hydrovac truck.

Install an exhaust diverter valve on a fire truck.

I think this has happened to everyone,at one time or another. I was trying to race another semi up a long grade in Wyoming one time many years ago with my NTC 335,in my C04070. The turbo hose split,and it sounded like the worlds loudest whoopee cushion being sat on. Scared me so bad,I almost jumped out the window.....Lost the race,too,other trucker laughing his ### off,knew just what it was.

 

Just a heads up for anyone headed toward Donner Pass. Snow level down to 6000' tomorrow morning. 12" expected.

 

Mounting a cantilever style Elog mount using self tapping screws into hollow plastic. If only Edison and Einstein could see us now...
