    You must be mistaken. They hadn't discovered rubber yet when he was still driving. Solid iron bands around the wooden spoke and rim assembly were the hi tech deal at the time.

    Here's a Picture of my 1st Truck, guess I should've got a Rattlecan and spiffed up the Front Wheels some

    Used to load 10 Ton of Rocks on that bad Boy, @wore out would've been proud as a peacock lol

    The Chaindrive came in handy when Ya came across a dumb Bambi, they'd get all chewed up....easier to cook that night over a open flame along the Cowpath

    That dang Gas Tank was a problem if Ya was Smoking though
