Don't worry about hurting 6pak's feelings. 1badz28 and me saved him a parking space at right up front near the buffet line! That will make him feel better.:biggrin_25525:

As a team if your not getting well over 6000 miles then it would suck unless your a hubby and wife team then that would be ok pay.

That was always the rule of thumb for non trainers. Make it a husband wife team and keep all the pay in one household. Then the money was good. Otherwise you are splitting the miles and it is not much more than solo miles.
They will not lease the truck to 2 people. The lease will be to one of you, and the other will be an employee.
The leaser will be responcible for taking out all taxes, paying unemployment, his part of Social security ect.

Does anyone know the rule if they don't get you home for your hometime on the day they approved you for? Just curious looks like 1bad will be 1-2 days late and miss Easter w/ the kids after all.

Late Pay is $40.00 per day. Must meet certain criteria.

-- Must have requested time off at least 9 days before requested date.
    -- Must have available hours
-- Cannot refuse freight or pre-plan
    -- Must request payout
-- Must be approved by Terminal Manager or Director of Fleet Operations

Late pay does not apply if caused by mechanical breakdown or weather related.

    newtruckerwidow Thanks this.

He requested the time 10 days in advance. Will have to take a restart before he can make it home b/c of the preset they gave him to get home. Does that qualify him for the $40 ?:biggrin_25511:

I was mistaken, Rhino's FM said his teams are getting over 6,000 miles per wk.

ChromeDome? Rhino (my hubby) is going to be leasing the truck. We had planned on doing it already.
Will he be responsible for taking taxes out of his buddy's pay also?
We are still learning about this whole team thing.
