I hope you mean the bridge and not the load...!!Feedman, Hegemeister, cke and 2 others Thank this.

Not sure why they gave you greif about the beam? I've never loaded one on a deck.
Hydraulic all the way up, put blocks under the horse wheels, blocks under the bowl cutting edge, lower trailer to blocks, lift back end with machine, drop trailer all the way, remove neck, pull trailer out from under load, put one 12"X up against the 24" to step machine off blocks instead of jumping down the whole way...
You'll be fine. Remember, it's not a job, it's and Adventure!
Oh yeah, make sure there's no train on that bridge when you go under it, trains are heavy! Heavy enough to deflect bridges!Last edited: May 22, 2019
MartinFromBC, kylefitzy, BigBob410 and 9 others Thank this. -
I'm loading in Harvey, Il on the 28th or 29th...
@TripleSix, you available for security? It's a darn sketchy neighborhood!MartinFromBC, truckdad, cke and 3 others Thank this. -
I’ve always loaded them the other way. With the rear tires on the bolsters.
cke Thanks this. -
@Humblepie , you must understand that these two fellows @Rontonio and @Heavy Hammer are what they call mazoch maschosist, masokis, #$%##& they just like pain. So they find a difficult machine, put it on a trailer with no deck, and then spend 1/2 a day getting it loaded in the snow or the heat depending which of the two were talking about. Then they drive for days on end, ducking overpasses and and crossing RR tracks at 27 degree angles, climbing supers in big sweeping curves just to get somewhere to spend another couple hrs getting the beast off. I, like you always did it the easy way because I was a lazy sob.MartinFromBC, BigBob410, lynchy and 7 others Thank this.

Cheater!
I'm not sadomasochistic, I like a challenge.
In other words...I'm greedy!
Or as @Rontonio calls me, a horse without the S.
PS: I have a deck as well, I just don't like itLast edited: May 23, 2019
MartinFromBC, cke, truckdad and 1 other person Thank this. -
Wouldn’t call it lazy. Just no point in making extra work. I have a different combination and run a different area. So I don’t know if it had to be loaded like that for weight issues or what. But it would have been shorter overall height the other way around. But as long as it gets moved and all the pieces parts make it with it.MartinFromBC, Razororange, cke and 3 others Thank this.

Out of curiosity why did you load them like you did in the second picture? Weight distribution?MartinFromBC, cke, Feedman and 2 others Thank this.

Yeah I’m still unclear as to why.MartinFromBC, cke, Feedman and 2 others Thank this.
