Not sure, I thing they do. Call the Idaho Falls Term and ask. Recruiters name is Eric. That would be the term you would run for living in Denver.

Yes, they run teams... I've seen 2 of them, so far..

How long does it take for a recruiter to email back? We're not calling right now because we don't plan to change companies until we have at least a year under our belt.. but ####. i sent one to the phoenix recruiter since thats where we're moving to and haven't heard anything in 9 days.

They usually get right back to you. How ever if you told him that you are not read to switch at this time or that you don't have the year yet. he may ignore you and pay attention to drivers he can get in the door now. Send him another one.

Awsome, thanks.

I also work for KR. IMO they are the best otr company that I've worked for. As far as miles go as of today I'm just shy of 11,400 on the month. I live in southern ky off i-75 and I'm home when I ask to be. I always know where I'm going to next before I del my load. Like right now I'm at our term in Joliet IL. I have a del from here to the dollar tree. From there I come back to the yard, pick up a load goin to columbus oh, from there ill be pickin up a load going to mt sterling ky for a 5 am del then hometime until monday where I pick up in mt sterling heading to mira loma cali. I really like my dispatcher too which is rare. I agree with kabar, if u treat them good they treat u good. The only gripe I have right now is I'm on daily pay and I haven't gotten paid yet today which is weird since I sent in my paperwork at 9 am est. I'm gonna switch back to weekly though. This is the first problem I've had out of it so its probably my fault

I was wondering about the basics for KR. I am at my first reefer job and I love the reefer world. The company I'm at now has got to be the best I've ever heard of (as far as everyone in the office is concerned)....THEY JUST HAVE NO MILES!!! Even running weekends (we're home every weekend) I can't get over 2000. Some weeks I make more off my $100/day layover pay than I do getting mileage. While I love the people in the office, their niceness does not pay my bills.
So now I was looking at "the bluebird", but someone the other day told me to check out KR. He had applied that morning and could only sing their praises. I just blew him off thinking that they were just like Knight Trans. but by reading these posts I guess I was way wrong.
So if anyone could answer the basics(pay scale, home time, lumpers/tolls/scales policy, insurance, running area) and anything else you want to through in...I'd greatly appreciate it!! -
The basics: Pay states at .31/mile with pay raises at 30,90,180 and 1 year where you will be at .35
Home time, 1 day for ever 6 out. HOWEVER they don't hold to that if you are a hard worker and do your job. They will give you and extra day or two if you need then. They always get me home on-time if not early and don't ask me to come out early or bug me at home.
Lumper's and tolls are paid by the company. Scales are reimbursed. They don't require you to scale. But any and all tickets are yours.
Running area is 48 or regional. The regen depends on which term you run out of.
