Hello! I need to buy a refrigerator. I would like to know if I should get one with a freezer too? What are you guys using? I’m an otr driver and the truck has an inverter so I can do ac or dc.

was yours a dual zone or would you just turn the temp low to store ice cream?

I've had pretty good luck with these. They last anywhere from 2 years to... who knows. I had one in my old truck for 4 years, took it out and still using it at home. That was a replacement for the same exact one that lasted two years before that.

Depending on which you use more, the freezer on the 3.1 cu. ft. is actually bigger that the 3.4 cubic foot model. But the 3.4 has a bigger fridge. Both will do ice cream no problem.

If you don't have an APU to keep the batteries up, you'll have to empty it out over the weekend. Overnight is fine as long as your batteries are in good shape.
