R&L Carriers and your experience?

Whatever you do stay away from the Pittston PA terminal. They have a driver in charge of the safety committee that is a whiner and if you call him on it he threatens to fight you, then threatens you again if you call HR in him and the company ignores it.

 

Surprised that they don't make you buy the truck as well then.

The R&L terminal close to my house has a lot of turnover compared to other LTL companies. I know 2 guys that worked out of there, one driver and one dockworker and both hated it. I talked to them about a job back in 2017 and just got a bad impression from the people I spoke to there so I withdrew my application. I’m sure it varies by location but that’s the scoop on the terminal here FWIW.

And don’t go to Central Transport unless you wanna live in inspection bays at every scale house. The DOT loves them around here, the state makes a lot of $ at their expense lol
