Well I studying for about a week or 2 but really starting grinding this pass weekend like really study.
Spend maybe a whole couple days.
Went to the DMV and told the guy I wanted to take the GK, Combo, Air Brakes... He asked which one I wanted to start with 1st, I told him Air Brakes to knock it out cuz I thought that would be the hardest for me.
Not sure which one I missed the most on. Each test they give you an hour to complete em, and I had 3 choices for each question. They showed u which 1 you missed right after you missed it.
Combos I think I might have had the toughest time... honestly I don't remember.
Anyhow I passed all 3 of those test, 1st time taking them in the DMV office! DOT Medical card is done and that is good to go for 2 years.
The lady said my test is on file and it is good for 1 year. If I don't get the CDL Class A by next summer I will have to take it over again. She said if I get the CDL now I have 6 months that it is good for!
So now I start the thought process of what I want to do!
Passed em all....

Congratulations! I'm going to try and get all my tests passed before starting CDL school so I don't have to worry about it.
What do you mean by "She said if I get the CDL now I have 6 months that it is good for"?
Are you talking about the permit? -

What are the rules on retaking the written exams if you fail in Florida?
I am just curious. -
it should be standard for all US.., 3 tries within a time frame, ask dmv
COBB2070 Thanks this. -
Just a heads up....during the performance exam part of the testing to get your CDL, the vehicle inspection trips up more drivers than almost anything else. Study it and practice it really really well. It will be worth the time. Good luck.

The permit lasts you 6 months, you can renew it if once for another 6 months you need longer... That is what she meant.
COBB2070 Thanks this. -
I think they should have school/training (I guess that what the company does maybe when they hire you) on the types of endorsements. -
If you get tanker, get hazmat cause they pretty much go hand in hand. Plus it’s buy one get one free since X is considered one endorsement you don’t have to pay extra
