That MAN truck is not a recreational vehicle, it is classified as an expedition vehicle. It is designed to go to places where the Freightliner can never go, let alone @Cat sdp 's vehicle. It's not a conversion either. these trucks are often build on a brand new chassis. The German company Unicat is specialized on such vehicles. This is a big one, based an a MAN 8 x 8:

If it was a truck registered in the EU, then it most likely was limited to 90 km/h.

There are European RV's on normal truck chassis:

However, many of them are build on a bus chassis, because it is more suitable:

It should have stayed over in Europe because it can't keep up with the traffic flow here. Its a road hazard on our roads where the limit is 110 or 120.

It's using off-road tyres, and they are usually limited to 90 km/h as well.

I dont care if it's a jet propelled hover craft or if it's using 12 ft tall loader tires, if it can't keep up with the flow of traffic it shouldn't be allowed on the #### road.

After seeing that Coronado I'm starting to think my W900 would look pretty sweet with a 16 foot RV body on the back. Plus I could tow a 30 foot bumper pull behind it.

    michelin and pirelli yes.
conti make some with 110 kmh rating in size 14.00 r20

i use michelin when payload is important on 6x6 and 8x8. because with single tires it is difficult to get rear axle weights right. as they got 10600kg per axle instead of 10000.
going on heavy axle weights with single tires is not smartest idea as it destroy bearings but sometimes you dont have choice. i usually go to 2x10.5t rating.

i use conti on 4x4 single tire trucks and for ARFF airport fire trucks.

in some cases it is not possible to fit 14.00 or 395/85r20 and need small 365/85r20 which are rated for 100kmh.
conti make approval for 115kmh on short time usage
