It might have been straight line winds. Those can be just as bad as twisters if not worse.

Lol. I'm just reading some of the latest stuff about guns and the sort. I'm not one to use guns. Legally, I can't own one. Anyway, I would rather be smart and stay out of those situations. However, if one becomes unavoidable, I got three cans of wasp spray and my tire thumper. Do the wasp spray first and when they are temporarily blinded beat the snot outta them with the tire thumper.

This is nonsense... a right turn is the same in NJ as it is in AZ.. don't blame geography on inability or inattention

Thank you for your comment. This is old news now. I'm dealing with it through appropriate channels and that is all that needs to be known at this point. What happens after this is just that. I am gonna deal with it the best I can.

What a thread, lol. A bit of advice of who listen to on here and not, lets just say the ones to listen to dont post long winded stories about all manner of things.

Couple things I saw in your posts. Dont let yourself get so riled up over your job. Slow down and take your time. You said other traffic refused to let you move, news flash you're in a 70ft long, 80k lbs vehicle, if they wont move then you dont move either. Their much smaller vehicle is much more maneuverable than our trucks. Let them run into something trying to get around you.

Dont rely on GPS. It will screw you. Use it to figure out your best route, dont just blindly follow its directions. Know where you're going before you go there.

And flatbed is less forgiving and much more work than van freight, although some companies are trying to run it into the ground as well. Gotta be on your A game all the time.

As you said best to avoid it altogether.

Yeah. That why I said have three cans of wasp spray. One can for each person. Dump the entire can in their face then beat the snot outta them. :D

That's what I did with the last load I dropped and the one I'm picking up now. It might take a little more time but I will make sure that this ain't happening again.

If you dont wanna do simple task every experienced truck driver does thats probably best place for you to be and dont complain . You just need to be more careful and pay attention ...i have been everywhere probably except putting chains climbing mountain , black ice scares me alot but DC , NY , BALTIMORE , LA , HOUSTON ... just heavy traffic and bad roads
...probably you think that every driver that goes there has min 10 years experience :)
    Keep crying princess
Probably you belong to the 3 story penthouse in NYC
