Did you get the rest of the trailer aero system installed yet? Got any new pics?
As you know, you basically just spent $350 less in fuel then say the avg truck on the road. Incredible. What ELD do you use? Omnitrac by chance? Just curious what your moving mpg is vs your overall mpg and what the total idle percentage is.
In efficiency alone as long as you don’t use it as a reason you can run for less money, it will ensure you stay in business while the next guy closes down. I know you know all of this but I can’t get over your results.
I’ve been excited to get numbers in on my newest truck. Did you have a break in period where the numbers steadily went up or was it about the same right out of the box?

It doesn’t look like I’ll be getting the rest of the skirt panels. I ordered a trailer kit from FlowBelow for the trailer. I’ll have it next week. I also ordered some AeroFlaps for the trailer and some Air Tabs for the truck and trailing edge of the skirt.
I use Coretex ELD and Dashcam. I really like their system.
When I post my mpg fills it is hand calculations, total miles and total actual gallons. The ECM is all over the place.
It’s creeping up. So far I’m at 8.73 mpg since I bought it. I’ve noticed .2-.3 mpg increase since getting the new trailer. I wasn’t expecting that.
I noticed the fuel mileage improve around the 60k mark and again after the first valve adjustment.
Idle is 8-9%
Eventually when the tires that came with the truck wear out, I’ll put on the XOne XDN2s and I’ll think that will also increase mpg. A higher traction tire will improve mpg in a 6x2.Last edited: Jun 1, 2019

I’ll be leaving out tomorrow finally. Had a bunch of stuff to do. I discovered a big chunk of rubber missing out of my passenger side steer tire, so I’ll be replacing that tomorrow. You can’t see steel, but it’s all the way down to the base of the tread. It still has 16/32nd of rubber, basically a new tire ruined thanks to our lovely interstate highway system. The FlowBelow is on the trailer and AirTabs are on. This oil change I switched to the Schaeffer 10w30 Ultra Performance to see how it does with the bypass. Even though it’s a 10w30 like I’ve been running, the viscosity is thicker than the FA4 I’ve been running. My oil pressure is 7-10 psi higher with it.

Will the higher viscosity oil affect your fuel mileage? I’d think it would lower it right?
