I’ve lost a few lbs., just by eating lesser portions, avoiding late night eating, and occasionally skipping an evening meal altogether. I can lose 10-15 lbs in a month. But sticking with it is tough. I’ve gone from 220 to 200 and now back to 210. Last 3 Mos, A little exercise goes a long way. Almost immediate results. Just sitting and laying down, Then sitting again all day, softens all the muscles up quickly, Just moving around, or standing all day, while working on my Truck, tightens everything up. Just a little exercise at first, will reap benefits, and hopefully encourage more.

When I worked local, 20+ yrs ago, I ate anything, never gained a pound.Always in and out of Truck, one month OTR, gained 20 lbs. Since gained another 20, I just lost 20 and gained 10 back, Lol. Trying to walk more, meanwhile hip joint is getting worse. I think I need some Lucas, Lol

You need to get that hip joint looked at.

Don't be Mr Tough with that kind of pain. (Or in my specific case, Mr Dumdum.)

now being retired, i wake up anywhere from 4-5 AM daily, 7 days a week.

i got to a school walking track, and i go on the .23 mile track, twice.

i am building up my stamina so that i can hit the .50 track they have, and do that twice.

that's about all i will most likely do when i build up my stamina, maybe once in a while, hit the .23 track at least once as well....maybe as a warm up..???

but i don't wanna push it....i might get real skinny..........

Finally found the time to ride. And I thought I'd take a short 20 mile out trip with my spare time. 3.7 miles from the truck stop and I'm almost dead. I made it back, but don't forget to pace yourselves.
    PS I'm 285 lbs

A Montague is a very good choice for trucking. There has been many times i cover 4-5 miles in the truck lot, for lack of better options. If you're on Facebook, check out Truckers with bicycles. We trade tips, places to ride, etc.

There are creams or padded shorts for that.... but for few miles, not really. But i suppose his legs and maybe lower back ached. Either way he got and did it. And life will improve. Nothing better than taking out stress on the pedals, and replacing it with endorphins

i dunno..i rode bicycles as well, and when winter came, in the cellar it would go till springtime..

i can assure you, that no matter how the seat was adjusted.....after a few minutes of riding, for the first few times of the new season, it felt like i had a vasectomey and a hysterectomy, and hemorroids ripped out, as well....

and my weights have been somewhat varied at 160 to 180 pounds thru all my adult life....

not as big as the o/p.....
