You put more faith in oil than I do. Lol. I'm curious to see how it goes.

I do oil samples every 20k. As long as the sample comes back clean and no indication of a problem, it is safe to keep running it. The bypass oil filter keeps a lot of trash out of the oil. The last sample I did was 51k miles on the oil and I could’ve kept using it. I wanted to get Schaeffer in it though, so I changed it.

That's cool. I sample every now and then but I don't use them for extending intervals. I just change my oil every 20k miles and go on. It's not expensive enough for me to worry about extending intervals. But I do like seeing others do different things.

It has many more pics in the actual magazine. It’s the March/April edition. The TA in Elkton Maryland still had some sitting out.

What version of the Vector did you end up buying? Was thinking about moving into reefer in the next few months and trying to do some research on these units vs the TK S700. Also what kind of price did you get quoted on vs the TK.

Vector 8500. The Vector and the S700 are about the same price, 29-30k installed. The TK C600 and Carrier X4s are a few grand less. I like the Vector because it’s completely electric and has a hermetic compressor. This design eliminates a lot of maintenance items.

I remember you talking about this. You bring up great points and thought I might do some research on the Vector. Have you had any issues with yours since you bought it?Thanks
