I agree, there were rumours when the engine was first introduced, but then it all went quiet. Haven't heard about it in the last few years.
I guess Iveco think it is to expensive (for now) to make a true Euro-VI version of it. Sales numbers of high power Iveco's are probabaly too low to justify the cost.
But you never know. They may surprise us.....
Do Iveco offer the non-EGR 15 litre Cummins down under?
Or are they trying to sell the ProStars if customers want a 15 litre?
Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

They did sell EGR powered versions of the Bonneted Powerstar here. But the Powerstar was (very) quietly Discontinued 12 (Or so ) Months ago..!!
Oxbow, daf105paccar, KVB and 2 others Thank this. -
As promised, pictures taken from eye level sitting at normal driving height, seat set so knees and hips are bent at 90% angles. Then again with all air dumped from the seat.
As you can see dumping the air in the seat effects the visibility very little.
Edit to add: its hard to tell in the picture but the hood visor is see through. A barn owl broke the corner off and I've not been able to find an identical replacement.Attached Files:
