Memphis to Jacksonville... gotta go through old Birmingham... I swear that’s a difficult city to just drive through... took me at least 90 minutes today.

I needed I-20 East... nope, Exit Closed... I guess maybe I missed a Detour Sign but I don’t think I did... so I drive south and get turned around to catch it from the other direction... nope, Exit Closed... dang... so I thought, ok I’ll hop on I-20 West and then do a Uturn at the next Exit... coming back east now... they force you off I-20 ... ugh... now I’m on city streets... looking to get on someplace... but the WHOLE ROAD is gone... tore out... being replaced... lol

If ever a City needed a beltway, Birmingham be it... there is probably an easier way but my RM takes me in from the NW... into town... then out NE... only to go back South again on the far side... lol

Scrolled up to the window this morning,guess what,I get a load to Nebraska,felt like I was getting the cold shoulder too lol.

 

Has anyone else noticed the amount of trucks being sold is greater than amount being purchased? Read an article yesterday that said Knight-Swift was dialing back on its profit statements for the year also. Not just them, but concerning.

 

Yeah, some rejected knucklehead had something to say about the color of our trucks.

 

I’ve hit that area twice. First time I got lost. Second time I realized I missed a sign. That detour is awfully confusing. I was there in middle of night both times. I can’t imagine doing in during the day.

 

Over capacity from everyone buying trucks last year. Rates settled back down. Last year they were very very good.

Just like that guy who used to sign up new accounts and come into this thread and troll and talk crap about JohnBoy until he'd get banned by the mods. I wondered whatever happened to him because we haven't heard from him in a while. I guess this is his new angle.

The bad company section has those threads started everyday. With vast information available on demand I don’t know how people can’t figure things out, trucking or anything else.

My favorite crappy comment I make to people is “You use that phone to look at all your douchebag interests and listen to your crappy music, but couldn’t be bothered to look up information that pertains to your current life situations?!” MORON!!!!

I just can’t handle lazy stupid people. and I have at least 40 more years on this earth.
