Over 1000 miles a day? When I moved back to Florida it took me 15 1/2 hours to go 1125ish miles at 80 mph most of the time. How do you get away with the hos?

 

It’s simple. They’re rolling dirty, E-logs,paper logs and HOS be ######!!

 

Honest question....how do you get around that? I worked for one of the world's largest trucking companies and even we couldn't ######## that and we didn't have elogs or paper...we had our own system. How the hell does a lil 1099 outfit get away with it? What happens when you get inspected? Just curious.

 

Your guess is as good as mine. The only way I could see them doing 1000 miles a day is if they have the truck dialed all the way up. And even then, 1000 miles a day would be stretching it.So whatever they’re doing, I can guarantee you it isn’t legal!

Honestly , i don't feel bad for these drivers that jump on with every friendly trucking company looking for drivers

I figure they will have to learn the hard way like myself and many others , but the horror stories are still pretty cool to read

 

The elog is always conveniently broken, three sets of paper looseleaf logs that go out the window when they're screwed up beyond recognition, and if you get caught and put out of service for the day, oh well, you don't get caught everyday.

Takes years for the feds to shut places like that down. And then you just sell it to the wife and change the name.

 

and yet you got people to continue to defend these Eastern European companies probably because they screwed up their driving record so bad and I can't find nobody else that'll hire on them..I get sick of it I've seen the fall because I live in the Chicago area and I've been out here almost 30 years..it's gotten to the point where I don't even want to comment on some stuff when people ask about o how about MGR how about time-definite how about Taz Trucking GP Transco yada yada yada goes on and on and on..soon as I call and some Foreigner answers the phone that's enough for me I've already seen too much of this the last 13 years since we brought em in.
