    Mines in Carthage, been there.

Strange loads? Picked up a load of O.J. once, OK not strange but I picked up in Canada and delivered in Florida. Wrong way A?

I took Fla. oranges to Cally and Cally oranges back to Fla.
Something to do with the difference between eating and juicing. I'd forgotten all about it until this thread.

    To a mine??
Not at all, I was delivering Styrofoam concrete forms to a new house being built right at the top of the mountain, I had to drive past the drive, then back up the steep driveway.
Funny thing; the concrete guy was pissed cause I wouldn't move for him. He wasn't going to pour much concrete anyway, because the forms hadn't been placed yet.

I got a little worried when we drove across the tarmac. What's the height clearance of a plane? When we drove across the runway I wondered what I'd do if I saw a plane coming in :biggrin_2554:!

A trip through the Chunnel from England to France. Our truck drove onto a platform and then into an enclosed box car. 40 odd minutes later we're in France. Really neat. I wasn't driving the rig. I was visiting relatives and decided to ride along with my Scottish cousin who drives 'Artics' or 'Lorries" (read: tractor trailers) all over western Europe. Cool experience.

Not realy weird but kinda unusual, i delivered a load of trees and shrubs to a big fancy house in one of those fancy ritzy subdivisions where the houses are over 500.000 dollars and the yuppy wives all go for a walk together and exercise, my big semi looked realy out of place with all the high priced cars and SUVs there, got some nasty looks from some of the people that lived there also.
