Curious minds want to know....why did you "fire" your CDL school?
-
A number of reasons.
1. The commute was too far from my house.
2. Their trucks kept breaking down
3. Too many students per truck I was not getting enough driving time.
4. Lots of negative dynamics too many to list here. -
1. If the commute was too far from your home....I'm speechless. You are training to be a truck driver.
2 Trucks break down, new trucks, old trucks, all trucks break down at times.
3. Typical truck driving school: One student driving, instructor in shotgun seat, 2 or 3 students in the sleeper watching.
4. Negativity goes with it. It's only a few weeks.
5. For insurance and liability reasons, you are going to be hard pressed to find a driver who will train you and let you use his/her truck to train and test in.
6. Good luck to you. I hope you didn't waist too much money paying for the school.CrappieJunkie Thanks this. -
how about 10-14 students per truck isn't that too many? Well, I guess you won't but I am hoping someone will or I can rent one for a few days! Worth a shot you never know...

In terms of waste of money honestly even a penny is a waste on these bozos. So I am screwed on that front! Never mind the time I wasted. Money can be recouped you can never get the time back.
Trucks are meant for driving and hauling many miles, not my personal car. -

Personal driver training with an OO's own truck?
I'm thinking about 1000 bucks a day. That should help with the temporary increase in insurance, the scuffed trailer tires, extra clutch wear, and an oil change for the transmission to get the gear tooth chips out.CrappieJunkie, Omega1, DillonJ and 1 other person Thank this. -

Northern California. We don't train but good luck to you.DillonJ Thanks this.
