they think people with felonies should be a permanent underclass.
    a slave class.

Clearly the blind trying to read aloud, to the hearing impaired.

Have neither of you given thought to the background check, that will need to be passed for a haz-mat. Which you're NOT going to get with a felony.

While the ad does say it isn't needed, it says it would be a plus. Especially if you want to move on a regular basis. Or you could watch your co-workers get the miles, while you sit in the parking lot for 48 hours waiting on a "non" hazmat load.

    that is not true.
if you read the Hazmat application, almost all people with felonies can get a hazmat if they have been out of prison for 7 years.
murder, espionage, terrorism, and certain other felonies are disqualifiers for life.

Actually, the code reads "May be Eligible".

I will concede the point in interest of time. Since the employer has set his own requirements, that are legal BTW.

But I will also add that you look at the HIGH number of drivers that are qualified for a medical exemption....and what it took for them to obtain that excemption. Some taking years, for the most ridiculous reasons.

I dont recall the word "may" in the lettering.
may sounds a lot like might, but in legal terms I believe it means you can.
just like in the air force regulations on hair cuts that said
sideburns may be worn. some airman once tried to tell me that I had to have sideburns because he interpreted may to mean must.

And certian MALE sailors within the Navy may wear earrings, while in uniform.

It's never been interpreted to mean must.

Anybody that has a felony should try it and let us know how you did. Highly unlikely that you will get one.
