Realizing how shady the entire industry is out there...

No doubt there are shady companies, but nobody needs to choose to work for them. If drivers would stop signing on the dotted line until they have talked to drivers at these companies the shady companies would go out of business.

You would be surprised how many people on here don't know what that means, even though there is one sitting a couple feet away from them.

 

Hahaha. & they're barreling down the interstate with us, & taking off hoods in truck stops, & 10hrs breaks on the fuel island. God love America.. Maybe there should be a minimum IQ set for drivers..?

No, they don’t want intelligent people. The HOS, the traffic laws, even the cattle prods in the trucks...everything about the trucking industry is focused at the Braindead. Set a minimum IQ, and they will only hire the minimum for a driver.

 

The minimum is all they seem to be getting know from what I can see, I know better than to say it can't get worse. I'll admit I'm not particularly bright, an IQ test may come up negative on me, but I can drive a truck without running into ####.

 

How would you handle the situation?
