It’s not the batteries they are new within a year. Driver there is a inline fuse that has to be in place with a inverter 1,500w and up lol. Cables that run from batteries spliced or w/e inline fuse then cables that go from other end that go into inverter.. The inline fuse I bought has a trip feature to prevent it from blowing completely soo it’s similar to a circuit breaker that u have in your house when to much volts go through it trips then needs to b reset. A driver earlier already gave me the best advice thus far.. Thanks anyway..

Can you run power to the inverter with out the fuse. Just check and see. That might be the weak link. You can go to Walmart and buy battery cable. You might need to get connection ends too.

If you are 3meters from batteries to inverter 000 is what you would need for 250amp draw, which is 3000w at 12v.

Also check if your inverter is modified sign wave or PURE sign wave. Most home style refrigerators won't run well on modified, waves are too square. I have a laptop that will charge, slowly off mine and the brick gets HOT because it doesn't like the modified wave. Whenever possible pay the $$$ and get a REAL pure sign wave inverter.

Highway Hustler, don't rule out your batteries but I think you're on the right track replacing the other stuff first. My truck had 4 OEM (pretty dang good) batteries in it until late last year. I replaced them with the same brand but obviously nowhere near the same quality. Like you I run a lot of stuff off a big inverter so they get a lot of abuse and my 8 month old batteries are already headed downhill. I take my truck home and plug in the charger every time I'm home for more than a day but if I don't they will be low.

I wish I had just left the original batteries in it.

If your really taxing your batteries regular starting batteries won't put up with the constant charge/discharge cycle. You need deep cycles. They tho, don't have the big cold cranking amps. There are "hybrid" batteries that still have good cranking amps but have a deep cycle side to them makes them better for hotel loads we all run. Look into them.
