Man i hit a owl 2 nights ago . hit it square in the grill . about 2 am in the morning headed on oregon 78 eastbound . poor feller was sittin in the road , tried to fly away at the last second but was to slow. Just glad he didnt fly away faster cuz he wouldve smacked me in the windshield , i bet it wouldve broke all into my face, oh boy that wouldve been fun. pulled into the ta in wells nevada couple hours later and had to pick all his feathers out of my grill , looked like i ran thru a chicken pen

Oh wow. Stay the course.
DO NOT SLAM ON THE BREAKS. DO NOT SWERVE OUT OF THE WAY.
Sure, lift your foot off the accelerator.
Once the Darwin Award Winning Bambi jumps in front of you, you are responsible for what happens. Losing control of your vehicle is MUCH worse than what happened to road kill Bambi.NightHawk365, Lumper Humper, tscottme and 6 others Thank this. -
If a deer comes out of nowhere, it normally runs at you or across your path at a 90degree angle. You’re going to have to stand on the brakes to give Bambi a chance. That’s putting yourself and others in danger.tscottme, Dan.S, FlaSwampRat and 6 others Thank this.
