Need help company just bought a conastoga with a 60in spread axle. Jow much weight are u allowed on the spread r u still allowed 40k even though its a smaller spread?

Some states will give you more with a permit on a undivisable heavy load ie oversize or overweight. Some Western states come to mind. In depends on the state. AZ and Nv. Will do that.

I pretty sure under 8’ is considered a tandem so still 34,000.

They are less than 96 inches apart, therefore are considered a Tandem. It's in the green book, I don't have the time to dig up the 390 some range regulation itself. If your axles are greater than 96 inches (10 feet comes to mind) then you can load em up to 40K.
In my book anything less than that 10 foot spread is a waste of money. -
