Trucker stabs police officer

I never have to worry about a cop shooting me with anything lethal or non lethal.

 

I would normally agree with that statement, but he was stabbed in the neck and probably multiple times. If the confrontation wasn’t so sudden and at a close range, I would say a taser would be more appropriate. This officer is now in ICU at the hospital and now some possibilities are not being able to breathe normally or talk, some deformation to the neck, etc. A screw driver appears harmless, but with enough force it can penetrate the skin and harm your organs.

 

I think what you’re saying will probably become a reality in the future. It seems reasonable to instruct officers to not use deadly force unless it’s necessary (like in the video). Some taser rubber bullets seem legit.

that cop could easily be dead , there is alot of veins and arteries in the neck not to mention the spinal cord. he was lucky to not have anything like that happen. but my question is why would he shoot the guy only to hurt him. ? that seems counterintuitive when somebody tries to kill you.

 

Any response should be lethal not less than lethal. Some people watch to much tv.

 

Point me to this non lethal gun or other thing can can stop someone attempting to murder me....
Nothing of the sort exist....
