Pilot adds them to the truck stop, you might as well write off the truck stop. They are way too small.

Can't make any money in a lot with 6 parking stalls. Lot lizards don't even waste their time on Pilots.

Can you picture nose in parking at Pilot parking lots ? With fuel prices now IdleAire isn't worth the money and who needs it when temps are mild in the spring and fall . But my carrier pays for IdleAire . I can bill it right to the Comdata card . But often I'll let them put that thing in the window and not even use it .

If you read the article in your link, you would see that another company bought the assets in July last year. The original company is the one that is going through the bankruptcy.

I did read the article but I wasn't sure if the company's were related that was why I asked for more info. If you go to the company website there hasn't been a news update since sept. 2008. So there was no new info available. Thanks.

I encourge every one to WRITE letters to the editor of at the Pilot's magazine, with your concerns. Pilot is jumping in head first with eyes closed. Not realizing how bad they are gonna screw the drivers who don't have apu's, and refuse to use the idleair non filtered service. And

By God help you, if you should find all the non idle air spots full, which they always are, if you should park in Idle Air, the parking lot Nazis' will be on you faster than flies on cow #hit. And will not leave you alone , untill you do one of two things sign up for thier over priced service, or move.

95% of thier current locations are already to small, and they claim Idle Aire can increase parking stalls.I hear the debate at the coffee counter, the jury is still out on that.

I would post the link to the Pilot Mag, but i got in trouble with the mods for posting a link to a company,,, Said i was advertising.

So you'll need to do a serch for that website. Or PM me, if you can't locate it.

I agree with everybody here so far..Pilots are way to small as they stand right now. Can't even imagine trying to back out of a IA stall when you can't get into the stall in the first place...probably why the agreement (2 years ago) didn't receive any action, somebody probably got out a tape measure and found out they wouldn't work.
