All CT allows is sparklers, which my lady loves (I told her she only gets away with it bc she’s a woman: any man gets called a ###### for that) so I hadda keep some stuff from our last PA trip for after dark tonite.

I just saw something posted somewhere else by a guy looking for a job hauling cows. He said his girlfriend left him this morning and she was the only thing holding him back from doing that kind of work.

It got me to thinking...who the hell would hire that guy? So he can come on board and then possibly become a problem employee when he eventually gets himself another pushy girlfriend?

The whole thing sounded like "Yay, she's gone, now who needs my skills?". Dude's overestimated his appeal I think.

Maybe I'm just too old fashioned...or is there a market for milquetoast boys with CDLs?

Come out and see me sometime. You can buy anything you want in Wyoming. Even the commercial type artillery shells.

I know a guy who bought the raw materials and was making his own fireworks. There's quite a bit of skill that goes into making them.

Appreciate it — I did some math and I’m at 600 miles and that’s if I’m lucky enough to make Waterloo... :(

The up-side to being an interstate carrier, one gets the opportunity to stop in states where freedom is embraced to purchase Class A explosives that REALLY upset the local law enforcement. We actually had more people watching our fireworks show on this particular 4th than was watching the official municipal show. Fortunately all the police were busy directing traffic so we got most of them shot off before we get tickets. We started 30 min after sunset and were still lighting them off at 12:30am when the police showed up and wrote 3 of us tickets. The mistake they made, they didn't take what was on the porch, only what was over in the park so 5 minutes later the show was back on till they came back to offer accommodations at the detention facility.
