Well... we talkin Bar Hopper or Iron Butt? Them old fellas put a ton of miles on them rigids. I still would like to get my hands on on a West Coast Choppers CFL rigid an do it up my own way.

 

A old buddy thats dead rode his 56 pan ridged with suicide shift from MD to OH. Took him about 3 days to straighten out. My Dyna is ruff anymore for my neck and back issues.

 

Ill take that over a big wheel bagger any dam day! I dig the "Less is More" when it comes to bikes, personally.

Sorry @Zeviander I didn't have a chance to spend any time in Winnipeg this trip. I'll likely be out that way again in a couple months.




Spent some time in ND. Amazing the culture difference between 2 countries right next to each other:

-Never before have I seen a military service discount offered at retail stores and restaurants. Never seen stores put up photos recognizing their veteran employees either. I'm guessing military service is a huge deal in the US.

-Never before have I seen people so large that they needed a mobility scooter to get around Walmart.

-Even with exchange rate, prices on a lot of items are cheaper.

-No tap on debit machines.

-75 MPH speed limit on the Interstate. About 11 km/h faster than most of our highways.

-Folks are super friendly and actually don't drive like the complete dick bags we have out in western Canada.
