Nitrous Oxide would have a negative affect on that too.

 

Well been working nights and getting items for 4th gathering.

Haven't had time to catch up on 598 posts. Holy Cow that's alot of typing.


BIL had the grill already fired up and was waiting on corn. Interesting places I see for corn on the grill and under it. I was saddled with corn detail, since he was playing with protien patrol.

Been working on the 350 motor for the c10 pickup. I've been working on my list of machine work,parts and gasket set for rebuild. I Speced out rebuilding the camel hump heads. ($1200 for pair) To get heads all done. Ugghhhh. Shop tells me they have a set of aluminum heads for $800. With better flow and cheaper.

Looks like my list is a bit outdated since last motor rebuild.
Also not running a carb or points. Opting to get a ( Holley sniper efi. https://www.holley.com/products/fuel_systems/fuel_injection/sniper_efi/sniper_4bbl_tbi_kits/parts/550-511 )

I'll get the parts list from the shop when they put it together. I'm curious about the cost for decking, honing and cleaning the block. Debating on solid to Hydra lifters, it all depends on the cam they suggest for sniper efi.

Gonna put this up to a 4spd for wife to drive. To figure enough horsepower and still run on pump gas.

Been busy with non-semi truck stuff. At least I don't have the "honey-to-do list"
